Netherlands: Facts and figures?

"Facts and Figures : Public research institutes in the Netherlands", is the second issue compiled by the Science System Assessment Department of the Rathenau Institute, an independent organization founded in 1986.

This issue contains basic information on the wide variety of public research institutes in the Netherlands, focusing on the research activities carried out by these institutes. Other activities, such as general services and consulting, are not included in this report. 
The data, which are primarly quantitative, are presented in an international context wherever possible.
