France-Taiwan Scientific Prize
The Académie des sciences (France) and the National Science and Technology Council of Taiwan award a France-Taiwan Scientific Prize every year to a team of French and Taiwanese researchers for their contribution and achievements to scientific research of interest to both regions. Application deadline is June 16, 2025.

The Académie des sciences - Institut de France and the National Science and Technology Council of Taiwan award a France-Taiwan Scientific Prize every year to a team of researchers (one from a Taiwanese institution and one from a French institution) for their contribution and achievements to scientific research of interest to both regions, as well as their future plans to continue and amplify their scientific collaboration.
Eligibility
- Applications are open to all researchers working in France and Taiwan (regardless of nationality) that have an active scientific collaboration and plan to amplify it in the near future;

All scientific fields are eligible.
Award
- The amount of the Prize is 40,000€ to be shared in equal parts between the laureates of the year;
- In order to encourage the continuous scientific exchange, a mobility grant is also available each year exclusively to the laureates for short visits and workshops in both regions.
Application process
Applications must be sent by June 16th , 2025 in two identical copies in PDF format, one submitted by the French applicant to the Académie des sciences, and the other submitted by the Taiwanese applicant to National Science and Technology Council.
