Description du sujet

I am a newly appointed professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Université Laval, specializing in biomanufacturing.

I am looking for Master’s or PhD students. By joining my lab, you will benefit from:
✅ A stimulating, multidisciplinary research environment
✅ Access to cutting-edge facilities on the ULaval campus
✅ A unique opportunity to contribute from the start to shaping the lab’s research directions, with close mentorship

The specific topic will be defined with the student. Projects will focus on the monitoring and modeling of biomanufacturing processes. Specifically, on the use of Raman Spectroscopy and/or High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) to monitor cell culture media composition, and how to use these measurements to build predictive models of cell cultures able to infer and optimize cell growth, product titer and product quality.
