Les substances psychédéliques les plus couramment utilisées (psilocybine, LSD, ayahuasca) sont des substances psychoactives provoquant des états modifiés de conscience intenses, utilisées pour des raisons médicales et spirituelles depuis des millénaires. Leurs usages thérapeutiques bénéficient depuis une décennie d'un intérêt renouvelé dans la recherche scientifique, donnant lieu à de nombreux essais cliniques (Berkovitch et al., 2023; Luoma et al., 2020). Il ressort de ces études le rôle important, voire nécessaire, de l'expérience vécue que ces substances induisent dans les effets bénéfiques qu'elles produisent (Yaden et Griffiths, 2021). Cependant, cette expérience est encore aujourd'hui insuffisamment caractérisée.
L'objectif de cette thèse sera d'étudier de manière approfondie ces expériences et les effets bénéfiques déclarés par les personnes qui s'y sont prêtées hors de tout cadre médical. Il s'agira de recueillir une expérience psychédélique significative de participants volontaires, à partir d'entretiens approfondis.

Psychedelic substances that are the most commonly used (psilocybin, LSD, ayahuasca) are psychoactive substances inducing intense altered states of consciousness. They have been used for both medical and spiritual purposes for millennia. Their therapeutic use has experienced renewed interest in scientific research over the past decade, leading in particular to a growing number of clinical trials (Berkovitch et al., 2023, Luoma et al., 2020). These studies show that lived experience plays a significant role in the beneficial effects of these substances (Yaden and Griffiths, 2021). However, this lived experience is still insufficiently characterized today.
The aim of this thesis is to conduct an in-depth investigation of these lived experiences and the beneficial effects reported by people who have used such psychedelic substances, outside any medical setting. A significant psychedelic experience will be collected from voluntary participants, based on in-depth interviews.

L'appel à candidature s'adresse à des étudiant.e.s titulaires ou en cours d'obtention d'un Master (M2) dans le domaine de la psychologie cognitive ou de la neuropsychologie. Les candidat.e.s devront justifier : - D'une solide formation académique en lien avec le sujet proposé et en méthodologie de recueil des données qualitatives et en analyse de ces dernières (approches phénoménologiques). - D'un intérêt marqué pour la recherche et spécifiquement les thématiques des témoignages d'états modifiés de conscience à la suite de la consommation de substances psychédéliques et des interactions humains-environnement. - De bonnes capacités d'analyse, de rédaction et d'autonomie. - Bonnes compétences rédactionnelles (français et anglais). - Rigueur, autonomie, bonnes capacités d'organisation et motivation à travailler en équipe pluridisciplinaire.
The call for applications is open to students who hold, or are currently completing, a Master's degree (M2) in the field of cognitive psychology or neuropsychology. Applicants must demonstrate: • A strong academic background relevant to the proposed topic, as well as training in qualitative data collection methods and their analysis ( Phenomenological Analyses). • A marked interest in research, particularly on the topics of testimonies of altered states of consciousness following the consumption of psychedelic substances and, humans-environment interactions. • Strong analytical, writing, and independent working skills. • Proficiency in academic writing in both French and English. • Rigor, autonomy, strong organizational skills, and motivation to work within a multidisciplinary team.
