The Bioactive Molecules and Medicinal Chemistry research group focuses on the study, characterization, and evaluation of biologically active compounds with potential applications in health and pharmaceutical sciences. Its research interests are relevant to natural products chemistry, phytochemical analysis, molecular characterization, and the investigation of compounds with potential biological activities. The group's research environment offers opportunities to apply analytical chemistry techniques and contribute to scientific investigations involving bioactive molecules and their potential applications.

I am an mphil chemistry graduate with a research background in GC-MS based phytochemical investigation of Tecomella undulata and determination of antioxidant activity of its extract. I have a profound passion for obtaining an international phd degree. This internship would serve as a gateway to my ultimate goal. I will be able to expand my research expertise and knowledge that will be beneficial for me in the future. Also I will try to use my old natural product chemistry knowledge and explore new to give something innovative to the field of medicine. 

I hold an MPhil in Chemistry from Minhaj University Lahore, Pakistan (2023–2025), and a BS in Chemistry from Lahore Garrison University (2018–2022). My MPhil research focused on the GC-MS-based phytochemical characterization of Tecomella undulata, involving plant material extraction, phytochemical investigation, chemical profiling, and the evaluation of antioxidant activity using the DPPH assay.

I have practical experience with GC-MS, HPLC, gas chromatography, FTIR, UV-Visible spectroscopy, atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), thin-layer chromatography (TLC), solvent extraction, and sample preparation. I have also gained professional experience as a Quality Control Analyst in the pharmaceutical industry and laboratory experience in drug testing.

My research interests include natural products chemistry, bioactive molecules, phytochemistry, analytical chemistry, and pharmaceutical analysis. I am motivated to strengthen my research skills, gain experience with advanced analytical techniques, and contribute to ongoing laboratory projects. I am particularly interested in investigating plant-derived compounds and their potential biological applications.

I am a committed and adaptable researcher with laboratory experience, attention to detail, and a strong interest in international scientific collaboration. I would welcome the opportunity to contribute to the host group's research activities while further developing my experimental and scientific skills.
