ApogeeBio Postdoctoral fellowships

Genopole and its partners launch the 3rd and last ApogeeBio call for proposals to fund postdoctoral fellowships. In this call, a total of 10 will be funded for a duration of 24 months and a monthly salary up to 3000 euros net. Association Bernard Gregory will support selected young researchers in their career development. The deadline for applications is February 28, 2024.


The ApogeeBio* programme, is a MSCA action supported by the European Commission dedicated to international fellowships toward Genopole. It intends to launch 3 international calls from 2021 till 2023 for a total of 24 post-doctoral fellowships with hosting possibilities both in the academic and the private sectors of life sciences and environment. The total amount of each fellowship is 130 000€ for 24 months (gross salary charged).

The 3rd call and related documents will be open on November 10, 2023, for 10 fellowships with salary up to 3 000 € net / month. Applicants from all nationalities must not have resided or carried out the main activity in France for more than 12 months during the 3 years prior to the call deadline.

Excellence in the research offer

The fellows will have access to attractive position in 14 academic laboratories and a potential of 77 companies, all located in Genopole biocluster. Positions are open both in the academic and the private sectors, in the fields of life sciences and biotechnologies for health and environment including:

  • Gene and cell therapies
  • Human and environmental genomics
  • Biophysics, structural and molecular biology, chemistry
  • Computational biology and digital sciences applied to life sciences and health
  • Systems and synthetic biology and biotechnologies
  • Social sciences and management applied to innovation in health and environment

Mobility, Training and career development

As a fellow, you will benefit from an excellent research and innovation environment with cutting edge infrastructures, training offers and public-private networking opportunities.

From the side of personal and career development plan, our partner ABG Asso, will propose jobs and career workshops covring job market across Europe both in the academic and in the private sectors, and Science-Accueil will propose courses of French language and acculturation sessions for foreign researchers. As for trainings, ApogeeBio will propose a set of training including courses and practical sessions as well as seminars and workshops in research related disciplines as well as in transferable skills.

Participants will have assistance through a mobility process and administrative procedures.
