We're excited to share the opportunity to apply for the AuSpire Postdoctoral Fellowships, co-funded by the European Union. These fellowships offer:

Full-time employment in Spain for 36 months (3 years) with excellent conditions

A competitive salary, including a relocation mobility allowance

Up to 12 months of international/intersectoral secondment to Australia in most cases

Participation in an international research environment centred on Planetary Wellbeing

An innovative research training program

Attendance at events to build a sustainable research community and foster collaboration

Engagement in innovative projects with significant societal and commercial value

Family allowances to ensure equal opportunities for postdoctoral fellows with families

We are looking for outstanding researchers worldwide who currently hold a PhD and have not resided or carried out their main ​activity in Spain for more than 12 months over the last 3 years. Successful candidates will begin from June 2026.

The Australia-Spain Network for Innovation and Research Excellence (AuSpire) is an ambitious, interdisciplinary program co-funded by the European Union that links Spanish and Australian research communities through 28 Postdoctoral Fellowships. Centred on the concept of Planetary Wellbeing, AuSpire aims to address global challenges by fostering research with meaningful, positive impacts on the planet’s inhabitants and ecosystems.
